A live tracker aggregating the time that Americans collectively give to social media in both minutes and human lifetime equivalents. The project draws attention to how much of our attention we divert from our immediate surroundings to the little black screen in our pocket.
I mostly take pictures when I'm walking around my neighborhood and think "Oh, that's a good sky". I think they're cool. If you've somehow found my website maybe you will too.
My goal for this page and one of the mail reasons I built this site is to create a space to organize my thoughts and share them in writing.
I'm based in Atlanta, and by day, I work in supply chain planning, where I focus on end to end supply planning, standing up processes for new business launches, and solving logistical problems across global operations. I like to think about how things are connected, how systems can be improved, and how to build processes that are simple and effective.
Outside of my professional life, my recent work explores the intersections of attention, technology, and time. I’m the creator of the Attention Clock, a live digital installation tracking how much of our collective lives are spent on social media. I've also learned that beautiful skies capture my attention and sometimes I document them in photos. I intend to use this site to publish occasional essays on digital culture, politics, and any other topics that capture my interest and inspire me to write about them.
This site brings those threads together — a quiet space to document my projects and ongoing questions.
